Insert batteries into the Firestick remote
Plug in and power on the Fire TV Stick
Wait for the Fire TV screen to load
Hold the Home button on the remote for about 10 seconds
Wait for the pairing confirmation on the screen
If it does not pair, move the remote closer to the Fire TV Stick
Unplug the Fire TV Stick for 60 seconds and plug it back in
Hold the Home button again for 10 seconds
If needed, use the Fire TV app on your phone to navigate to Settings
Go to Controllers and Bluetooth Devices
Select Amazon Fire TV Remotes
Select Add New Remote
Hold the Home button on the remote until it appears and pairs
If the remote still does not connect, replace the batteries
Restart the Fire TV Stick and try pairing again
