Turn on the HP printer
Confirm the printer is connected to power and has paper loaded
On the printer control panel, open the Wireless settings menu
Select Wireless Setup Wizard (or Network Setup)
Choose your WiFi network name (SSID) from the list
Enter the WiFi password when prompted
Select Done/Apply/OK to confirm settings
Wait for the printer to connect to WiFi
Print a Network Configuration Page (optional) to verify the connection
If prompted, install the HP printer software on your computer
During installation, choose Network/Wireless as the connection type
Select the WiFi-connected printer from the detected devices list
If the printer does not appear, use Add Printer/Devices and select the WiFi printer by its name or IP address
To find the IP address, print the Network Configuration Page or check the printer’s Network/Status menu
If WiFi setup fails, restart the printer and router, then run the Wireless Setup Wizard again
If available, use WPS on the router: press WPS, then select WPS on the printer and wait for the connection
