Use a USB cable to connect the iPhone to the MacBook
Unlock the iPhone
Tap Trust This Computer if prompted
Enter the iPhone passcode if required
Open Finder on the MacBook
Select the iPhone from the Finder sidebar
Use Wi-Fi syncing in Finder if you want wireless connection
Turn on Wi-Fi syncing in the iPhone Finder settings
Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network
Use AirDrop to transfer files between iPhone and MacBook
Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on both devices for AirDrop
Open Control Center on iPhone and enable Personal Hotspot if needed
Connect the MacBook to the iPhone hotspot from Wi-Fi settings
Use iCloud to sync photos, contacts, notes, and files between devices
Sign in with the same Apple ID on both devices
Use Continuity features like Handoff, AirPlay, and Universal Clipboard if enabled
