Turn on the Magic Mouse
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mac, iPad, or other compatible device
On Mac, open System Settings
Select Bluetooth
Wait for Magic Mouse to appear in the device list
Click Connect next to Magic Mouse
If prompted, follow the on-screen pairing steps
If using an iPad, open Settings
Select Bluetooth
Tap Magic Mouse when it appears
If the mouse does not appear, turn it off and back on
Make sure the mouse is charged
Keep the mouse close to the device
Restart Bluetooth if needed
Remove any previous pairing and try again if connection fails
