Turn on Bluetooth on your PC
Put the Nintendo Switch controller into pairing mode
For Joy-Con, press and hold the small sync button until the lights start flashing
For Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, press and hold the sync button on the top until the lights start flashing
On your PC, open Bluetooth settings
Select Add device or Pair new device
Choose the controller from the list of available devices
Wait for the connection to complete
If needed, install or open Steam
In Steam, go to Settings
Open Controller settings
Enable Nintendo Switch Pro Controller support
Test the controller in a game or controller settings
If Bluetooth does not work, connect the controller with a USB cable
Use a USB-C cable for the Pro Controller
Use a compatible charging or data cable for Joy-Con charging grip or adapter
If the controller is not detected, restart Bluetooth on the PC and try pairing again
