Plug the Nintendo Switch AC adapter into the dock
Connect the AC adapter to a power outlet
Connect an HDMI cable to the dock’s HDMI OUT port
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the TV’s HDMI port
Open the dock’s back cover
Connect the AC adapter and HDMI cable inside the dock
Close the dock’s back cover
Remove the Nintendo Switch console from any case or cover if needed
Open the Nintendo Switch kickstand or align the console with the dock
Slide the Nintendo Switch console into the dock with the screen facing the front
Turn on the TV
Select the correct HDMI input on the TV
Turn on the Nintendo Switch if it does not power on automatically
Adjust the TV volume and display settings if needed
