Power off the Nintendo Switch console.
Choose a connection method:
Dock (recommended)
HDMI adapter (USB-C to HDMI)
Dockless HDMI with capture/AV solution (if supported)
Dock method:
Place the Nintendo Switch into the Nintendo Switch Dock.
Connect the dock’s HDMI cable to the TV’s HDMI port.
Connect the dock’s power adapter to the dock.
Turn on the TV.
Select the TV input/source that matches the HDMI port.
Power on the Nintendo Switch.
HDMI adapter (dockless) method:
Connect a compatible USB-C to HDMI adapter to the Nintendo Switch.
Plug the HDMI cable from the adapter into the TV.
If the adapter requires power, connect a USB-C power source to the adapter (or use a dock/pass-through method).
Turn on the TV.
Select the TV input/source that matches the HDMI port.
Power on the Nintendo Switch.
Troubleshooting:
Reseat the Switch in the dock or replug the HDMI/USB-C connections.
Confirm the TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
Try a different HDMI port on the TV.
If using an adapter, ensure it supports video output (not just charging/data).
