Turn the mode dial to Tv or M
Press the shutter speed control dial
Rotate the main dial to change shutter speed
Half-press the shutter button to confirm settings
Use the rear dial on models that have one
Check the LCD or viewfinder for the selected shutter speed
In Tv mode, the camera sets aperture automatically
In M mode, adjust shutter speed manually
Use the Quick Control screen if available
Set ISO as needed for proper exposure
