Ensure your phone supports eSIM
Keep your Jio SIM active and inserted in the phone
Make sure your Jio number is linked to your email ID
Open the Messages app on your Jio number
Send SMS to 199 with the text GETESIM
Reply with your registered email ID when prompted
Wait for the confirmation SMS from Jio
Follow the instructions in the confirmation message
Open the Jio eSIM activation email on your device
Scan the QR code from the email on your eSIM-supported phone
Complete the eSIM installation on your phone
Restart your phone if required
Wait for network activation on the eSIM
Remove the physical SIM only after the eSIM is active
If activation fails, contact Jio customer care or visit a Jio Store
