Ensure your Jio number is active and the phone supports eSIM
Connect the phone to a stable internet connection
Open the Messages app on your Jio number
Send an SMS to 199 with the text GETESIM
Wait for the confirmation SMS from Jio
Reply with your email ID when asked
Receive the eSIM QR code on your email
Open the phone settings
Go to Mobile Network or Cellular settings
Select Add eSIM or Add Mobile Plan
Scan the Jio QR code
Follow the on-screen activation steps
Keep the phone connected to the internet during activation
Wait for the eSIM to activate
Remove the physical SIM only after the eSIM is working
Restart the phone if required
If activation fails, contact Jio customer care or visit a Jio Store
