Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes
Line the basket with foil or parchment if desired (leave bacon uncovered if using parchment that can handle heat)
Place bacon strips in a single layer with space between them
Avoid overlapping for best crisping
Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 8–12 minutes, depending on thickness and desired crispness
Flip bacon halfway through if you want more even browning
Remove bacon when it reaches your preferred doneness
Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain
Rest 1–2 minutes before serving
If cooking more batches, keep temperature the same and adjust time by 1–2 minutes per batch
