How To Cook Butternut Squash Oven?

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)

Wash the butternut squash

Cut off both ends

Peel the skin with a vegetable peeler

Cut the squash in half lengthwise

Scoop out the seeds

Cut the squash into cubes or leave it in halves

Place on a baking sheet

Drizzle with oil

Add salt and any desired seasonings

Toss to coat evenly

Spread in a single layer

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes for cubes

Bake for 40 to 50 minutes for halves

Flip halfway through cooking

Check for tenderness with a fork

Remove from the oven

Serve warm
