Wash and dry the cauliflower
Remove the leaves and core
Cut the cauliflower into florets
Pulse the florets in a food processor until rice-sized
Grate the florets with a box grater if needed
Heat a skillet over medium heat
Add a small amount of oil or butter
Add the cauliflower rice to the skillet
Cook for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally
Season with salt and pepper
Add garlic, herbs, or other seasonings if desired
Cook until tender but not mushy
Serve immediately
