Leave the corn in its husk or wrap it in a damp paper towel
Place the corn on a microwave-safe plate
Microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes for one ear
Add 1 to 2 minutes for each additional ear
Let the corn sit for 1 minute after microwaving
Carefully remove the husk or paper towel
Trim the stem end if needed
Season with butter, salt, or other toppings if desired
