Leave the corn in its husk or wrap it in a damp paper towel
Place the corn on a microwave-safe plate
Microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes for one ear
Add 1 to 2 minutes for each additional ear
Let it rest for 1 minute after microwaving
Use oven mitts or a towel to handle it
Cut off the stem end if cooking in the husk
Peel back the husk and remove the silk
Season with butter, salt, or other toppings if desired
