Check doneness: salmon flakes easily and reaches 145°F (63°C) in the thickest part
Remove from oven and rest 2 minutes before serving
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C)
Place frozen salmon in the air fryer basket (single layer)
Lightly oil and season
Air fry 10–14 minutes, depending on thickness
Check doneness: flakes easily and reaches 145°F (63°C)
Rest 1–2 minutes before serving
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat
Add a small amount of oil or butter
Place frozen salmon in the skillet
Cover with a lid and cook 6–10 minutes
Flip carefully and cook uncovered 2–4 minutes more
Check doneness: flakes easily and reaches 145°F (63°C)
Rest 1–2 minutes before serving
Thaw partially under cold running water for 10–20 minutes (optional for faster cooking)
Pat off excess surface moisture
Cook using your preferred method (bake, air fry, or pan cook) until it reaches 145°F (63°C)
Avoid cooking until the center is done; stop as soon as it reaches 145°F (63°C)
