Preheat the air fryer to 390°F
Place hot dogs in the air fryer basket in a single layer
Cook for 4 to 6 minutes
Shake the basket or turn the hot dogs halfway through cooking
Check that the hot dogs are heated through and lightly browned
Remove the hot dogs from the air fryer
Place them in buns if desired
Add toppings and serve
