How To Cook Parboiled Rice?

Rinse the parboiled rice under cold water until the water runs mostly clear

Measure 1 cup of rice and 2 to 2.5 cups of water

Add the water and a pinch of salt to a pot

Bring the water to a boil

Add the rice to the boiling water

Stir once, then reduce the heat to low

Cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid

Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the water is absorbed

Turn off the heat and let the rice sit covered for 5 to 10 minutes

Fluff the rice with a fork before serving
