Peel them if desired
Cut into even pieces if cooking faster
Boil in salted water until fork-tender
Steam until soft
Roast with oil and salt at 400°F until tender
Bake whole until easily pierced with a fork
Microwave whole until soft
Mash after boiling, steaming, or baking
Season with butter, salt, pepper, or spices
Serve hot or use in soups, salads, or desserts
