Rinse frozen salmon under cold water to remove ice
Pat dry with paper towels
Place salmon on a lined baking sheet
Brush with oil or melted butter
Season with salt, pepper, and desired spices
Cover loosely with foil
Bake for 15 minutes
Remove foil
Bake 10 to 15 minutes more, until salmon flakes easily and reaches 145°F internal temperature
Let rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving
