How To Count Cards?

Choose a counting system (commonly Hi-Lo).

Assign card values: 2–6 = +1, 7–9 = 0, 10–A = -1.

Start a running count at 0.

For each dealt card, add its assigned value to the running count.

After each round, update the running count based on cards exposed.

Convert running count to true count: True Count = Running Count ÷ Number of decks remaining.

Use the true count to make decisions based on your strategy (e.g., higher true count favors player).

Keep track of decks remaining (based on penetration or cards dealt).

Reset the running count when the shoe is reshuffled.

Practice tracking cards accurately and consistently.
