Measure the bust, underbust, and cup size
Draft a bra pattern or use a strapless bra pattern
Choose supportive fabric, power mesh, and lining
Cut the cup pieces, band pieces, and lining pieces
Cut elastic for the top, bottom, and edges
Sew the cup pieces together
Sew the lining to the cups
Add boning channels to the side seams and center front if needed
Insert boning into the channels
Sew the band pieces together
Attach the cups to the band
Add underwire channels if making an underwire bra
Insert underwires if applicable
Sew the elastic to the top and bottom edges
Attach a hook-and-eye closure at the back
Try on and adjust fit
Reinforce seams and trim excess threads
