Open the website in your browser
Click the browser menu
Select Create shortcut, Add to desktop, or Install app
Name the shortcut if prompted
Confirm the action
Check your desktop for the new icon
Double-click the icon to open the website
If no option appears, drag the website address from the browser to the desktop
On Windows, you can also right-click the page and choose Create shortcut
On Mac, drag the website URL or favicon to the desktop from the address bar
If needed, use a browser extension or web app install option
