Gather colored paper, scissors, glue, pencil, and a straw or wire stem
Cut a paper square or circle
Draw a spiral on the paper
Cut along the spiral line
Start from the outer end and roll the paper tightly
Let the rolled paper loosen slightly
Apply glue to the inner end to secure the rose
Press the base of the rose to flatten it
Attach the rose to a stem with glue or tape
Cut green paper leaves
Glue the leaves to the stem
Repeat to make more roses
