How To Play Shuffleboard?

Choose the playing surface and confirm the scoring end zones at each end of the court

Decide the number of players and whether you’re playing singles or doubles

Select the puck weights and ensure all players use the same type of puck for the match

Determine who shoots first (coin toss or agreed method)

Stand behind the shooting line at your end before each shot

Hold the puck and aim it toward the scoring end of the court

Release the puck so it slides onto the playing surface without pushing or lifting

After all pucks are thrown, stop play when pucks come to rest

Score by awarding points based on which scoring zone each puck lies in at the end of the round

Use the standard scoring rule for your match format (commonly: only the pucks in the scoring zones count, and the closest puck to the farthest line typically determines the score)

Remove pucks from the court and switch ends for the next round

Continue rounds until a player or team reaches the agreed winning score (commonly 15 or 21) or the agreed number of rounds is completed

Follow house rules for fouls and re-shoots (common fouls include pushing a puck, stepping over the line, or interfering with other pucks)
