Start a new page at the end of your paper
Center the title Works Cited at the top
Use the same font and size as the rest of your paper
Double-space the entire page
Set 1-inch margins on all sides
Arrange entries in alphabetical order by the first word of each citation
Use a hanging indent for each entry
Include only sources you actually used in your paper
Follow the required citation style exactly
List the author’s last name first in each entry
Italicize titles of books, websites, and other longer works
Put quotation marks around titles of shorter works
Include all required publication information
Check punctuation, spacing, and capitalization carefully
Make sure every in-text citation matches a Works Cited entry
