Wash and dry your mustache
Comb the hairs downward
Decide on your desired length
Use small grooming scissors or a trimmer with a guard
Trim a little at a time
Follow the natural lip line
Remove stray hairs above the lip
Keep the edges even on both sides
Check your work in a mirror
Repeat as needed until neat
