How to Make Fried Squash?

Wash the squash and trim the ends

Slice the squash into thin rounds or half-moons

Place flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Beat eggs in a separate bowl

Put breadcrumbs or cornmeal in a third bowl

Dip each squash slice in flour

Dip the floured slice in egg

Coat the slice with breadcrumbs or cornmeal

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat

Fry the squash slices in batches until golden brown

Flip and cook the other side until crisp

Remove and drain on paper towels

Serve hot
