Open the file manager or terminal
Choose the folder where you want the file
Right-click and select New File
Enter the file name
Press Enter
Use a text editor and select File > New
Type the content if needed
Save the file with a name and extension
Use terminal commands like touch filename.txt
Verify the file appears in the chosen location
