Gather colored paper, scissors, glue, pencil, and floral wire or pipe cleaners
Cut paper into petal shapes
Cut a small circle or strip for the flower center
Curl or shape the petals slightly by hand or around a pencil
Stack or layer the petals around the center
Glue each petal in place
Add more layers of petals if desired
Attach the flower to floral wire, pipe cleaner, or a paper stem
Wrap the base with green paper or floral tape
Adjust the petals to finish the flower
