Open Windows Security
Click Virus & threat protection
Click Manage settings under Virus & threat protection settings
Turn off Real-time protection
Turn off Cloud-delivered protection
Turn off Automatic sample submission
Turn off Tamper Protection if needed
Open the Start menu and type gpedit.msc
Go to Computer Configuration
Go to Administrative Templates
Go to Windows Components
Go to Microsoft Defender Antivirus
Open Turn off Microsoft Defender Antivirus
Set it to Enabled
Restart the computer
Open Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Start menu
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftWindows Defender
Create or modify a DWORD named DisableAntiSpyware
Set its value to 1
Restart the computer
