Thread one lace end through the bottom eyelets from the outside in
Pull both ends until they are even
Cross the left lace over the right lace
Thread the left lace through the next right eyelet from the inside out
Thread the right lace through the next left eyelet from the inside out
Pull both laces tight
Repeat the crossing pattern up the shoe
Adjust the tension evenly as you go
Thread the lace ends through the top eyelets
Tie a knot or bow at the top
Tuck in any loose lace ends
