Open Facebook and log in
Go to the post, photo, or comment with the tag
Click the three dots or options menu
Select Edit post, Edit photo, or Edit privacy settings if available
Find the tagged name
Click Remove tag or Delete tag
Confirm the removal if prompted
If it is a photo tag, open the photo and click Options
Select Remove tag next to your name
If it is a post tag, open the post and choose Remove tag
If you want to stop future tags, go to Settings and privacy
