Open the Venmo app or go to the Venmo website
Log in to your account
Go to Settings
Select Account
Choose Close your Venmo account
Review and confirm the closure
Make sure your balance is zero before closing
Transfer any remaining money to your bank account
Download your transaction history if needed
Remove any linked bank accounts or cards if desired
Contact Venmo support if you cannot close the account in the app or website
