Open the Photos app
Tap Library or All Photos
Tap Select
Drag your finger across the photos to select multiple items, or tap each photo individually
Tap the Trash icon
Tap Delete Photos
Open the Albums tab
Scroll down to Utilities
Tap Recently Deleted
Tap Select
Tap Delete All
Tap Delete All Photos to confirm
If using iCloud Photos, repeat on all synced devices if needed
