On your Kindle, go to the Home screen
Press and hold the book cover or title
Tap Remove from Device or Delete Download
Confirm if prompted
To remove it from your Amazon library, go to Manage Your Content and Devices on Amazon
Find the book
Select More actions
Choose Delete
Confirm the deletion
To delete multiple books on Kindle, open the library
Select the filter or sort option
Use the selection checkboxes if available
Choose Remove from Device or Delete Download
To delete books from the Kindle app, open the app library
Press and hold the book
Select Remove from Device
To delete books from a Kindle Paperwhite or similar model, open Library
Tap and hold the book cover
Select Remove from Device
To delete books from a Kindle Fire tablet, press and hold the book
Tap Remove from Device
To delete books from a collection, open the collection
Remove the book from the collection
To free up storage, delete downloaded books you no longer need
