Sign in to GitHub
Go to your profile picture in the top-right corner
Click Settings
In the left sidebar, click Account
Scroll to the “Delete account” section
Click Delete your account
Read the warning carefully
Enter your username or other required confirmation
Confirm the deletion
If prompted, enter your password or 2FA code
Complete the final confirmation step
Download any data you want to keep before deleting
Remove or transfer ownership of repositories if needed
Cancel any paid plans or subscriptions if applicable
