Open the Settings app on your Android phone
Tap Passwords & accounts, Accounts, or Users & accounts
Select Google
Tap the Gmail account you want to remove
Tap Remove account
Confirm by tapping Remove account again
Enter your phone PIN, pattern, or password if prompted
If you want to delete the Gmail account permanently, go to myaccount.google.com on a browser
Sign in to the Gmail account
Open Data & privacy
Scroll to More options
Tap Delete your Google Account
Follow the on-screen steps to confirm deletion
