Click the X or clear icon next to recent searches, if shown
Open Gmail settings in your browser
Go to your Google Account activity controls
Open My Activity
Select Delete activity by
Choose Search
Set the time range
Confirm deletion
To remove saved search suggestions, clear your browser’s search history and autofill data
On mobile, tap the search bar and clear recent searches if available
