Open your browser settings
Go to Privacy or History
Select Clear browsing data
Choose a time range
Check the boxes for Browsing history (and any other items you want removed)
Click Clear data / Delete / Remove
If needed, repeat for additional history types (downloads, cookies, cache, site data)
To delete search history, open the search engine/app settings
Find Search history or Manage history
Select Clear history / Delete history
To delete history in apps, open the app settings
Look for Privacy or History
Choose Clear history / Clear data
If you want to delete history on a computer, also check the operating system privacy/history settings
Restart the browser/app after clearing if prompted
