Open Tally Prime
Go to Gateway of Tally
Select Alter
Choose Chart of Accounts
Select Ledgers
Open the ledger you want to delete
Press Alt + D
Confirm deletion when prompted
If deletion is not allowed, remove all voucher references linked to the ledger first
If the ledger is in use, cancel or alter the related transactions before deleting it
