Open Gmail
Sign in to your account
Select the email or emails you want to delete
Click the Delete icon
To delete all emails in a folder, open the folder
Click the checkbox at the top to select all visible emails
Click the Delete icon
To delete emails permanently, open Trash
Click Empty Trash now
On mobile, open the Gmail app
Long-press an email to select it
Tap additional emails if needed
Tap the Delete icon
To delete all emails in a label or category, open it
Use the select-all checkbox
Tap Delete
To remove emails from search results, search for the emails first
Select the emails from the results
Tap Delete
