Open the Photos app
Select the photo or photos you want to delete
Press Delete on your keyboard
Click Delete Photos to confirm
Open the Recently Deleted album if you want to remove them permanently
Select the deleted photos
Click Delete All or Delete
Confirm the permanent deletion
To delete photos from Finder, locate the file
Select the photo file
Press Command + Delete
Empty the Trash to remove it permanently
