Open Google Drive
Sign in to your account
Find the file or folder you want to delete
Right-click the item
Select Move to trash
To delete multiple items, hold Ctrl on Windows or Command on Mac and select the items
Right-click the selected items
Select Move to trash
To delete from the Trash, open Trash in Google Drive
Right-click the item in Trash
Select Delete forever
To empty all Trash, open Trash
Click Empty trash
On mobile, open the Google Drive app
Tap More next to the file or folder
Tap Remove
Open Trash if you want to delete it forever
Tap More next to the item in Trash
Tap Delete forever
