Open Google Drive in your browser or app
Sign in to the Google account that has access to the file
Locate the file you want to download
Right-click the file or open its options menu
Select Download
Wait for the file to finish downloading
Check your browser’s default Downloads folder or the location you selected
If the file is shared with you, make sure you have permission to download it
If downloading a folder, Google Drive will usually compress it into a ZIP file first
If the file is large, keep the browser tab open until the download completes
If the Download option is missing, ask the owner to enable access or share the file differently
