Align the lock’s current number with the indicator line
Turn the dial right several full turns to clear the lock
Turn right to the first number and stop on it
Turn left past the first number once, then stop on the second number
Turn right directly to the third number and stop on it
Pull up on the shackle or open the lock
Close the lock and scramble the dial after use
