Open the Messages app and start a group chat or open an existing one
Tap the App Store icon or the plus button next to the text field
If available, choose a poll app from the iMessage App Store
If you do not have a poll app, install one from the App Store first
Open the poll app inside the conversation
Enter your poll question
Add answer choices
Send the poll to the chat
Ask participants to vote by tapping their choice
Check the poll results in the app or in the conversation thread
