Create or choose a design
Print the design on transparent film
Stretch a screen with mesh over a frame
Coat the screen with photo emulsion
Let the emulsion dry in the dark
Place the film positive on the screen
Expose the screen to light
Wash out the unexposed emulsion
Let the screen dry completely
Place the screen on the printing surface
Put ink at the top edge of the screen
Pull the ink across the screen with a squeegee
Lift the screen carefully
Repeat for additional prints
Dry the printed item
Clean the screen and tools immediately
