Start with clean, dry eyelids
Apply eyeshadow primer or a light base if desired
Choose a liquid, gel, or felt-tip eyeliner
Look straight ahead in a mirror
Mark the wing angle from the outer corner toward the end of the eyebrow
Draw a thin line from the outer corner following that angle
Connect the tip of the wing back to the upper lash line
Fill in the wing shape
Draw a thin line along the upper lash line
Keep the line thin near the inner corner
Make small corrections with a cotton swab and makeup remover
Set the liner with matching eyeshadow if needed
Repeat on the other eye, matching the angle and thickness
