Rinse the bristles under lukewarm water, keeping the handle dry
Apply a small amount of gentle shampoo or brush cleanser to the bristles
Gently swirl the brush in your palm or on a cleaning mat
Work the cleanser through the bristles until makeup residue loosens
Rinse thoroughly under lukewarm water until the water runs clear
Gently squeeze out excess water with your fingers
Reshape the bristles with your hand
Lay the brush flat on a clean towel with the bristles hanging slightly over the edge
Let the brush air-dry completely before using it again
Repeat regularly to keep the brush clean and in good condition
