Open FaceTime and start a call
Tap the screen to show call controls
Tap the Effects button
Tap the Reactions option if available
Make sure your face is visible to the camera
Use a supported gesture or reaction to trigger the effect
If fireworks are not available, update iOS to the latest version
Check that both devices support FaceTime effects
Restart FaceTime if the effect does not appear
